This week, we will feature the training of one of Academy's partners in Cote dÏvoire: Solidaridad West Africa.
A Training of Trainer (ToT) was recently conducted in Democratic Republic of Congo, Africa by Solidaridad West Africa. The 6 days training course started from 20th and ended on 25th January 2020 with 5 participants attended, inclusive of 2 females. The 5 participants are affiliated with Virunga National Park.
The six days ToT training emphasised on several topic areas inclusive of needs assessment and sustainable palm oil market and certification. The ToT marks the beginning of the trainings held in Congo (DRC) as there will be upcoming trainings incorporating Smallholder Guide materials.
A second ToT training has also been conducted for 2 weeks from 30th November to 12th December 2020 covering topics such as best agricultural, social and environmental practices. It was shared by Mr Enokou that the next training will focus on Independent Smallholder Certification standards.
Training was led by Mr Enokou Brou Christian from Solidaridad West Africa. Mr Enokou was trained as one of the STA Master Trainer.
